The Old Diary Farm was the home of the diary herd belonging to Kit Calvert, the locally renowned farmer who was responsible for the initial industrialisation of the production of Wensleydale cheese in Hawes market town. It is now the home of Paul and Pam Cajiao, owners of the Blacksmith’s Table Restaurant, Washington village (www.blacksmithstable.com.)

The Old Dairy Farm provides relaxed, yet professional hospitality. The accommodation comprises of 3 luxurious, contemporary, en suite bedrooms and a spacious lounge and dining area. Each of the bedrooms has superior facilities, beautiful décor and furniture and also features exposed beams. Room 3 also boasts a balcony and its en suite bathroom has a double spa bath as well as an invigorating, double wall-jet shower.

To the rear of the farm is a garden and terrace area with seating from which the view along the Dale can be admired. Across the stream at the bottom of the garden lies Widdale Fell and a small forest; to the south of the property is Snaizeholme Fell and part of the Pennine Way.

The Old Diary Farm is conveniently situated for many activities, including touring, exploring the National Park, visiting the Lake District, walking, cycling or generally relaxing.
