Widdale is an unspoilt dale within the National Park and there is a lot of wildlife to enjoy. You may catch a glimpse of some of our regular garden visitors - red squirrels, spotted woodpecker, herons and roe deer - as well as our resident pheasant, Twinkletoes and our beautiful chickens!
“Digger” is our Rhode Rock hen with beautiful black & brown plummage, accompanied by our Suffolk White “The Rt. Hon, Mrs Edith Mainwaring, Lady Mayor”! Together they provide some additional flashes of colour and much entertainment to our grounds, as well as beautifully fresh eggs!
We would like to thank all of our customers for their support, feedback, kind words and reviews and were honoured to be inducted into the Tripadvisor Hall of Fame in 2018 following 5 consecutive years of 5 Star Certificates of Excellence. Once again thank you all.
